At Slongs Fishing Lures we strive to make the best quality of baits in order to ensure superior customer satisfaction.

Slongs Fishing Lures was established in June 2006 at my home in Hanson, Kentucky.  The idea came to me after many costly fishing trips.  Why not make my own baits and save money.

    Shortly after that I was at a bait shop and saw a pot for melting lead.  After talking to my wife, she agreed that since it was so expensive to buy baits, to buy the pot and start making my own jigs.  A few weeks into making the jigs it quickly turned into a hobby and my wife and I both agreed that I should start selling them.  the best shakey head

    So here we are two years down the road with a growing successful business.  I am very excited to see what this year will bring for Slongs Fishing Lures.
